Workouts

Whether you are new to the sport or a seasoned veteran, STC has a workout for you! STC hosts a variety of workouts for current members at locations throughout the Sacramento area. Each of our board members is active in the sport and leads regular swim/bike/run workouts. Our sponsors, affiliate coaches, and fellow members also host workouts, which are offered for free or at a discounted rate to STC members. Please check our workout calendar for details and updates.

For liability reasons, STC’s Group Workouts are a benefit available only to our current Members. If someone who is not a member comes out to one of our Workouts, they are required to print & sign our Liability Release for the Workout Leader. This is to ensure everyone’s safety. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy.

Volunteers who consistently lead Workouts for the year will be eligible for incentives & rewards at the end of the year. As always, only Current STC Members are eligible to participate in our Group Workouts.

Notice about our workouts

  • Sacramento Triathlon Club workouts are available to current members only.
  • If you join a STC workout, you must be physically prepared for that particular effort. If you are unsure about the difficulty level, please discuss this with the workout leader.
  • A helmet is required for bike workouts.
  • Before joining an open water swim workout, members should be able to comfortably swim 500 yards without stopping in a pool. Wetsuits are recommended for cold-water swims.
  • Most workouts require an RSVP to the workout leader.
